Pro PCTG (Polycyclohexylenedimethylene Terephthalate Glycol-Modified) is a high-performance amorphous copolyester engineered for exceptional toughness, ductility, and dimensional stability. Its glycol-modified polymer structure suppresses crystallization, which improves impact resistance, clarity, and interlayer adhesion during FDM/FFF 3D printing. Compared to many rigid thermoplastics, Pro PCTG exhibits high elongation at break, allowing it to deform under stress before fracturing. This gives the material superior fatigue resistance under cyclic loading, vibration, and repeated flexing. It also offers strong thermal stability with low warping, controlled shrinkage, and reliable print consistency for precision-engineered parts. Chemically, Pro PCTG provides excellent resistance to moisture, hydrolysis, salts, and many environmental contaminants, making it highly durable in outdoor and marine environments. These combined mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties make Pro PCTG a premium engineering-grade filament for high-performance, long-life functional components.
